Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 8, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how CognitiveSquad (“we”, “us”) handles your information when you use the Carry Minatamobile app (the “App”). Carry Minata is free, has no ads and no in-app purchases.
Information we collect
- Guest accounts: the App creates an anonymous account with a random identifier when you first open it. No personal details are needed to play.
- Google or Apple sign-in (optional): used only to keep your progress across devices. Your name and photo from those providers are never shown in the App, on a leaderboard or in a league; players are known by an in-app handle you choose.
- Gameplay data: run records (the seed, your answers and times, the score), best depth, streaks, league memberships, duels and the recall items in your Vault. Run records are sent to our server so the score can be verified. This is what the game is.
- Your handle: the only name other players ever see, on leaderboards, in leagues and in duels. You can change it.
- Usage analytics (optional):anonymous gameplay events through Firebase Analytics (for example “run started”, “round passed”) so we can tune difficulty. No names, no content you typed. You can turn this off in Settings → Privacy.
- Crash reports: Firebase Crashlytics collects crash stack traces and device model/OS version when the App crashes, so we can fix it.
- Notifications: Vault pings and streak reminders are scheduled on your device and never leave it. If you allow notifications, a push token (Firebase Cloud Messaging) is stored so we can tell you when a duel is decided or a league week ends.
- Technical data: our backend (Google Firebase) processes basic technical information such as IP addresses and device type to keep the App running and free of abuse, including Firebase App Check attestation that a request came from a genuine copy of the App.
What we do NOT do
- We do not show ads and do not use advertising SDKs.
- We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.
- We do not read your contacts, location, photos or files.
- We never show your Google or Apple name or email to other players.
- Game content is produced offline in advance; no artificial-intelligence service ever receives your data while you play.
Where your data is stored
Data is stored on Google Firebase (Google Cloud Platform) servers in the Mumbai region. Google’s own privacy practices are described in the Firebase Privacy documentation.
Data retention & deletion
Your data is kept while your account is active; we keep your last 200 run records. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from inside the App (Settings → Privacy → Delete account) or by email; see Account Deletion. Leaderboard rows and league memberships are removed at the same time; a finished duel keeps its result with your name replaced by “Deleted player”.
Children
The App is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
