Delete your Chess 3D Play and Learn account

You can permanently delete your Chess 3D Play and Learn account and the data attached to it at any time. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone — your rating, history, coins and cosmetics are gone for good.

Delete from inside the app (fastest)

1. Open Chess 3D Play and Learn and make sure you are signed in and online.
2. Open Settings from the home screen.
3. Find the Account row and tap Delete account.
4. The button changes to CONFIRM DELETE and warns you that this removes your account, rating, history and leaderboard entry for good. Tap it a second time to confirm.
5. The Game deletes your data from our servers, deletes your sign-in, wipes the save on your phone, and returns you to the welcome screen.

You need a working connection for this. If you are signed out, sign in first — we can only delete an account we can identify.

Request deletion by email

If you have already uninstalled the Game, or cannot get into it, email contact@cognitivesquad.com with the subject “Chess 3D Play and Learn account deletion” and include:

• your in-game handle, and
• if you signed in with Google, send the request from that Google address; if you used Sign in with Apple, send it from the address Apple forwards for this Game (your own, or your private relay address) — so we can confirm the account is yours.

We verify ownership and delete the account within 30 days of the request, and reply to confirm when it is done. You can also reach us on 8961150663, but please send the request in writing so we have a record of it.

What gets deleted

• Your sign-in (the guest account, or the Google or Apple link) and your Firebase account id. Deleting the account also ends Apple’s private email relay for this Game.
• Your handle — the name is released so someone else may use it — and your avatar.
• Your chess profile: rating and peak rating, league and division, trophies, coins, win/loss/draw counts, streaks, cosmetics you owned and your in-game settings.
• Your game history, rating log, puzzle records and training progress.
• Your leaderboard entries, on every board and season.
• Your matchmaking queue entry and any Play with Friends room you opened.
• Any stored push-notification tokens.
• The save file on your phone, including games waiting to be uploaded.

If a game is in progress when you delete, it is resigned first so your opponent is not left waiting.

What is kept, and why

• Games you played against other people.Each player keeps their own copy of a finished game, so it stays in your opponent’s history — but your account id is removed from it and your name and avatar are replaced by “Deleted player”. Nothing in it identifies you.
• A minimal audit record that a deletion took place, which we keep for security and accounting.
• Crash reports and analytics already collected are not tied to your handle and are retained by Google Firebase under its own retention settings.

Just want to sign out?

Settings → Sign out leaves your account intact; you can sign back in later and nothing is lost. Deleting the app from your phone does not delete your account — use one of the two routes above.
